Georgia (Giolena) Exarchou

Worked part-time for CommonLawgic (2019-2021) at the EU Grant Pop Machina (2019-2023) on the legal framework of circular collaborative production. She currently works for BODENHEIMER in Cologne Germany. Giolena holds an LLM in International & Comparative Law from George Washington University. She is a law graduate of the National & Capodistrian University of Athens. She was a Stavros Niarchos Scholar at DEREE-The American College of Greece, where she completed a Minor in Economics. During her studies she specialised in International law courses and participated actively in moot court competitions (Manfred Lachs Space law Moot Court) and research projects (Trade Law Clinic). She has studied abroad at the University of California, Berkeley and the University of Geneva where she completed the Certificate in Transnational law. She has undertaken an internship at the Greek Embassy in Paris, the Athens Office of Transparency International where she got familiar with corruption and business integrity issues and at Envolve Greece (the Social Responsibility Department of Libra Group) where she learnt about the Greek start-up ecosystem. She is fluent in Greek, English and French.
