Georgia (Giolena) Exarchou
Giolena is a law graduate of the National & Capodistrian University of Athens. She was a Stavros Niarchos Scholar at DEREE-The American College of Greece, where she completed a Minor in Economics. During her studies she specialised in International law courses and participated actively in moot court competitions (Manfred Lachs Space law Moot Court) and research projects (Trade Law Clinic). She has studied abroad at the University of California, Berkeley and the University of Geneva where she completed the Certificate in Transnational law. She has undertaken an internship at the Greek Embassy in Paris, the Athens Office of Transparency International where she got familiar with corruption and business integrity issues and at Envolve Greece (the Social Responsibility Department of Libra Group) where she learnt about the Greek start-up ecosystem. For the next academic year, she plans to start an LL.M program in International & Comparative Law in the US. She is fluent in Greek, English and French.
