Stavroula Genikalioti
Stavroula serves CommonLawgic with her legal expertise (ad-hoc and pro bono). Worked part-time (2019-2020) at the EU Grant Pop Machina (2019-2023). She works in Brussels since May 2023 at Acumen Public affairs. Previously she was a Blue Book Trainee for the European Commission and an Associate at Kyriakides Georgopoulos Law firm. Lawyer, member of the Athens Bar Association since June, 2019. As a trainee lawyer, she specialized on Administrative, Environmental and Spatial and Urban Planning Law. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from Law School of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Grade: very good 7,5/10); a Master of Laws in Environmental Law of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Grade: with great honours 8,8/10). The subject of her Master’s thesis was «The “polluter pays” principle: the meeting point of law with economics». During her studies she actively contributed to the organization of networking events for the volunteer student group “Law and Art”. She is fluent in Greek and English and has good knowledge of German.
